Barbara Wiggins-Lott

Barbara J. Thompson, 65, died Thursday, October 10, 2013 at her home.

She was born August 9, 1948 in Sikeston, Mo. to the late Pruitt and Florida (Leonard) Wiggins. She was employed at Hunter Acres Health Care Facility and A&O Services in Sikeston for 12 years.

On July 21, 1968, she married Earl Gene Lott who survives of Toledo, Ohio. To that union, four children were born, Lynn Lott of Chicago, Ill, Sabrina Lott of Charleston, South Carolina, Ameinia (Larry) Hulsey of Sikeston, Mo. and Angela Lott (deceased).

She was a graduate of Sikeston High School and a former member of St. John MB Church of Sikeston and a current member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

In addition to her children, she is survived by two sisters, Dorothy (Jessie) Thornton and Juanita Pearson of Sikeston, Mo. and two brothers, Gary (Pam) Wiggins and Fred (Lisa) Wiggins of Sikeston. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Austin, Dakota, Joseph, James, Justus, Joseline, Jordan, Michael and Lauren. Three great-grandchildren, Zylon, Donna Marie and a lil baby girl who will soon be born to Joseline. Other survivors include a host of neices, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and daughter, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Lou Wiggins and Gloria Mills. Two brothers, Jimmy "Dr. Vibes" Wiggins and Louis Thomas "LT" Wiggins.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the First Assembly of God Church, 306 S. Kingshighway in Sikeston with Bishop Ronnie Webb officiating. Visitation will be from 12 noon until time of service at 1 pm. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, Mo.

Barbara was totally dedicated to the Lord, so now she can rest in the bossom of ABRAHAM.
